Every session is full of suggestion. The way we describe what we notice, the expectations we set before we begin, and the words we choose as a client gets up from the table all shape what that person feels and what they carry home. Research on placebo and nocebo effects shows how strongly expectation influences experience, for better or worse. A casual comment like “you’re really tight here” can land very differently than we intend.

This workshop brings that awareness into everyday practice. We’ll explore:

• How common phrases can quietly support or undermine a client’s experience

• A live “same sentence, two ways” demonstration you’ll feel for yourself

• Simple language shifts for opening, guiding and closing a session

• How to set positive expectations without overpromising

We’ll close with a short guided hypnosis experience, so you can feel firsthand what focused, intentional language does.

Whether you work with touch, energy, herbs or conversation, you’ll leave with practical phrasing you can use with your very next client. No hypnosis experience is needed. Come curious, and bring the phrases you find yourself saying most often; we’ll look at a few together.
